The Society offers engineers opportunities to network, improve their technical competence, and socialize with fellow professionals. The Rhode Island Transportation Research Center (RITRC) conducts interdisciplinary studies in the areas of intelligent transportation infrastructure and systems. Research efforts cover all modes of transportation land, sea and air. We also undertake several intermodal transportation projects.
